Although my c-section wasn't scheduled, I required one bc it was an emergency (due to them being born premature). I felt the same exact way about everything you said. My water did break and I did have contractions but I longed to give birth to them. So go through the pain, the pushing, to bring them into the world the way women have for thousands of years. Not many people could understand my thoughts about this and it was so refreshing to read what you said bc you totally get it. And what bums me out is that you usually have to have c-sections for every other birth as well. We want more in a fe years and I literally pray that I can have a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean).
